Winco is
the exclusive area distributor of PRO-TECT-IT, a unique product for protecting
windows during the construction process. This patented aqueous polymer is
invisible to UV radiation, and has ‘no’ adhesives. PRO-TECT-IT is applied to
the inside and outside of the glass shortly after installation, and can be
left on as long as needed.
Concrete and construction workers can be brutal on delicate windows. New
owners demand perfection.
PRO-TECT-IT
is applied with a roller to an approximate thickness of four mils, and
dries to a thickness of roughly two mils. This coating supplies a
protective barrier between the glass and stucco, drywall mud, paint, and
numerous other elements deleterious to glass.
The
coating is applied to both the inside and outside of the glass shortly after
installation, and can be left on as long as needed.
Longevity in the Arizona market has been tested, and proven for extended use
in extreme heat and UV exposure for up to 18 months.
Here the coating is applied to
large surface glass, which is just as vulnerable as smaller panes.
